Shanghai EU Microwave Chemistry Technology Co., Ltd formally released a new Apex Atmospheric pressure Microwave Synthesis/Extraction System nationwide at the beginning of 2007. It is the first Atmospheric pressure microwave chemistry experimental instrument of its kind in China integrating special industrial microwave resonant cavity, high precision & high frequency fiber optic temperature sensor with high frequency closed loop feedback artificial intelligence. APEX will provide lab technicians engaged in microwave digestion and synthesis with a microwave experiment workstation of high precision control and wider applications owing to its top technology and outstanding properties.

| Four innovative core technologies of Apex Atmospheric pressure Microwave Synthesis/Extraction System
1.Innovative special industrial microwave resonant cavity (patent)- different from traditional domestic microwave oven cavities, it is specially designed as per the practical requirements on microwave chemical experiments. The cavity is made of a whole steel plate of high strength, with its inner wall coated with PEFT, which protects it from being corroded by acids, alkalis and organic solvents; moreover, it can withstand temperature up to 350℃, ensuring long stable operation and longer service life of the unit.
2. High precision insertion-type temperature measurement and control system-it is designed by optimizing its consistent technology advantages on high precision temperature test and control system in microwave chemistry, in which platinum resistance temperature sensor or high frequency fiber optic temperature sensor is inserted into the reaction kettle to measure the central temperature of reactants. The maximum temperature measurement precision is up to 0.1℃, which can ensure to a larger extent, the accuracy and trueness of measured temperature as compared with that of non-touching infrared temperature sensor, and thus can avoid discrepancy to the experimental results as incurred by temperature deviation.
3. High frequency closed loop feedback PID control system (patent)-transmit to the CPU, the real-time reaction data measured and collected at 1 hundredth second in the airtight system with high precision temperature sensor for treatment, send out instructions to adjust microwave emission power after data comparison, and accurately control the real-time temperature in the reaction process, to ensure the microwave chemical reaction to the specified procedures and real-time display of temperature curve. Application of the technology may control the actual operation temperature of the reactants within ±1℃, adjust the microwave power automatically and make continuous emission during the reaction. Therefore, the combination of such technology and high precision insertion type temperature measurement and control system can ensure accuracy, homogeneity of microwave chemical experiment results and data repeatability.
4.Humanized software control and display system-it is customized to the actual demands of customers, which integrates the display and the operation system without any external control device to realize all functions such as editing, saving, calling, reaction control, temperature display (including cooling process) as well as data and curve saving etc; in addition, the operator can observe or record the reaction process in the vessel through lens (optional) and TFT LCD to control the real-time reaction condition. Furthermore, by integrating the microwave chemistry workstation software (optional) with a PC the operator can edit, save, modify or delete various parameters covering temperature, microwave power to realize the remote control of the instrument; moreover, it can save every experiment data without limitation, print and output experiment data & temperature diagrams freely, which is more convenient for experiment recording and data treatment as required by humanized design in a real sense.

6. Reaction vessel with standard interfaces: optional volume of 50ml-2000ml(standard configuration: 500ml); reflux condensation, liquid feeding device, interface of inert protective gas;
7.Video display device(option): with video device installed in the furnace cavity, the operator can observe or record the reaction process in the vessel at any time through the TFT LCD outside the cavity, and control the real-time reaction condition.
8.Microwave chemical workstation software (optional): parameters such as temperature, microwave power and time can be edited, saved, modified and deleted; in addition, the software can be used to control the instrument, save every experiment data without limitation, print and output experiment data and temperature curve diagrams freely.
